Avantipur or Avantipora is known for its ancient temples. It is an ancient town that lies between Anantnag and Srinagar. These Hindu temples are said to be built by King Awanti Varman during 9th century.

Sirsa is believed to be the city of Sairishaka mentioned the Hindu epic Mahabharatha. Now it is part of Haryana. There are many historical places related back to a bygone era. A travel here on a offbeat track.

Baramulla is situated on the banks of Jhelum river near Srinagar. It is an ancient town which also has large population. Baramulla is emerging as a tourist destination in Jammu and Kashmir.

Sarahan is famous for Bhimakali Temple and it is known as the gateway to Kinnaur. The Bhimakali Temple in Sarahan is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and popular devi temples in Himachal Pradesh. There are also many more attractions in Sarahan.
