It is said that birds commit suicide around here at Jatinga. Suicide? Yes! Come monsoons and the birds start flying on the foggy misty nights! They fly from the trees towards high beam lights and mysteriously fall on the ground. Suicide accomplished. Locals have tried a hand at helping these birds with no positive results.

Located in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, this statue of Nandi is said to be growing still. [There's a similar statue in Bangalore which is bigger in size and has now forcefully stopped growing.] It is said that the day this statue of Nandi in Kurnool comes alive and starts running, time as we know it will come to an end.
