What to expect inside the Brain Museum?
For those studying neuroscience, conducting research on the subject, or simply interested in human brains, the Neuropathology Brain Museum is a popular place to go. Over 600 different brain specimens, including those from humans and animals with different neurological illnesses and diseases, are housed in the museum's outstanding collection. Visitors can view brains with brain tumours, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, & other brain-related disorders.
As soon as you go into the museum, you'll notice a number of shelves with real human brains visible via transparent glass. The museum currently has 600 brain samples on display, and the animal kingdom is where your journey begins.
You can first see the real brains of chickens, ducks, rats, cows, etc. Honestly, they are just making you ready to encounter the Human brain world. You may see foetuses and follow the beginning of human brain development, even in cases where a brain failed to form due to a disease called anencephaly.
After that, you will see a row of brains that had disorders including Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Cerebral Palsy. Other examples include those accident victims who died as a result of irresponsibility. You will observe brain samples with neuro-infections towards the end of your trial, such as a brain filled with tapeworm eggs or the way an amoeba could kill you if you inhaled it.
The human brain, spinal cord, and other parenchymal organs are all part of the museum's exceptional collection. These organs are available for visitors to touch and feel, offering an unforgettable experience. You are welcome to touch the displayed brains, as the researchers who lead the tour will encourage you to do.
