Day 1: Bengaluru - Colombo - Chilaw - Dambulla
Your journey begins with a flight from Bengaluru at 3:05 AM, arriving in Colombo at 4:35 AM. After freshening up and breakfast, you will drive to Dambulla, stopping at Chilaw to visit the sacred Manavari and Muneeshwaram Temples. These temples are deeply connected to the Ramayana story. You will have lunch en route and spend the night in Dambulla.
Day 2: Dambulla - Sigiriya - Trincomalee - Dambulla
After breakfast, the day begins with a photo stop at the iconic Sigiriya Fortress, followed by a visit to the Dambulla Cave Temple. Then, travel to Trincomalee to explore the holy Thiru Koneshwaram Temple and the Sri Lakshmi Narayana Perumal Temple. Return to Dambulla for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Dambulla - Kandy
After breakfast, check out and head to Kandy. Enjoy lunch and visit the famous Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya. In the evening, watch a cultural dance show and visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a deeply respected Buddhist site. Stay overnight in Kandy.
Day 4: Kandy - Ramboda - Nuwara Eliya
Post breakfast, visit the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple in Ramboda, an important stop in the Ramayana circuit. After lunch, travel to Nuwara Eliya, a beautiful hill station. You'll also visit a tea factory before settling in for the night.
Day 5: Nuwara Eliya
This day is packed with visits to sacred sites such as the Gayatri Peetham, Sita Amman Temple, and Divurumpola Temple, where Sita is believed to have undergone a trial by fire. Also enjoy the beauty of Gregory Lake. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 6: Nuwara Eliya - Pinnawala - Colombo
After breakfast, drive to Pinnawala to visit the Elephant Orphanage. Continue to Colombo, stopping for lunch en route. In Colombo, visit the Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple and the Kelaniya Buddha Temple. In the evening, enjoy a city tour of Colombo. Stay overnight in Colombo.
Day 7: Colombo - Bengaluru
After breakfast, enjoy some free time for shopping. After lunch, transfer to Colombo Airport by 3:00 PM for your return flight to Bengaluru at 6:55 PM. You will arrive in Bengaluru by 8:20 PM.
