High up on the slopes of Manali, two winter-sport specialists, Vikas Kumar and Tashi Dorje, of the Keylinga Himalayan Adventures, a winter-sport and travel company, have taken the initiative to fulfill your dreams and opened an igloo hotel. Snow in higher altitudes of Himachal Pradesh is not that infrequent, and owing to this anomaly, these two guys took advantage and built their own snow castles.

The duo has taken the childhood play of building castles to a whole new level and created a business out of it. This one-of-a-kind hotel was started only recently, which is last month, and is selling out at a rapid pace. They have managed to build only two functional igloos, which are completely suited for an overnight stay. The Manali Igloo Stay is a complex of two igloos and they are about 8x9 ft wide and 6.5 ft in height, made from blocks of compressed snow.

The accommodation is on a twin sharing basis as for now there is not much space to accommodate large groups. Don't fret about the biting cold and the sub-zero temperatures as you will be tucked up in thick foam mattresses with warm feather sleeping bags along with an extra fleece and a hot water bottle. Although, you still have to carry your woollens and thermals.

Rest assured, the hotel authorities will provide necessary things to shield your chill and will take care of everything to make sure your stay in a snow-house is absolutely comfy, warm and cozy and you don't freeze to death at night! Each room comes with a bed, table and lights, which happens to be pretty luxe considering that it is inside of an igloo.

Guests staying overnight are provided meals, snow outfits and skiing kits as well. The tariff covers all three meals and hot beverages in a day. And most times, dinner is served outside on a barbeque while you huddle around a bonfire.

So, if you are looking for this, you can rush to Manali and contact these people to ensure your perfect winter holiday. Don't worry even if you fail to secure a reservation, visitors can still spend a day at the campsite with various winter activities, like skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and so much more.
