India has stunning waterfalls with melodious gushing sounds to delight your soul, especially Uttar Pradesh. This place also attracts a lot of crowd due to tourist places of attraction such as Allahabad, Ayodhya, Mathura etc. The Rumi Darwaza and the National Botanical Research Institute also makes Uttar Pradesh very well-known.

Both the Rajdari and Devdari waterfalls are located in the midst of the Chandraprabha Wildlife Sanctuary. With a height of 65 m, Rajdari waterfall is gigantic as compared to a couple of other waterfalls present there. It resides in the lap of mother nature and is blessed with a picnic spot right in its vicinity. It is thus a merry spot for picnickers and tourists alike.

When you chance upon the downstream side of Rajdari Falls, another populous waterfall shall charm you with its melodious flow at a distance of about 500 m. Both the torrents are fed by water from a reservoir present just a kilometre before the Chandra Prabha Dam! You shall see people flocking in large numbers during the winter and spring months of September to March. Mark your calendars! The sanctuary housing the stunning falls is around 70 km away from the captivating city of Varanasi.

Located near Ahraura in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh, this mesmerizing waterfall is all set to win your heart when you traverse the lanes of the city of Varanasi. It is in full swing during the monsoons and looks pretty enchanting while pouring from a height of about 150 m, creating a spectacular whirlpool below!

It is a boon for the village farms and fields as it helps in irrigation. It is a spot of adventure for the trekking enthusiasts and merriment corner for the families. The water has been found to be quite peculiar with a history of people simply disappearing into it! Trace your steps and better take a group of friends along for your safety! No eateries are present nearby so carry your own meals to satisfy your hunger pangs in the lonely area filled with huge rocks, rivulets and thick jungles. Nevertheless, a bout of courage is required to step foot here but you shall not be disappointed!

This gorgeous fall lies on the Robertsganj-Ghorawal-Mukha Dari Road which is around 55 km in the west of Robertsganj and 15 km from Shivdwar, in the Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. It is in close proximity to a Devi Mandir and the lake on the Belan River. Make note of the best time to visit this breathtaking waterfall i.e. the wonderful monsoons.

Tired of the daily humdrum and busy schedule? Let the picturesque beauty of Tanda Falls be your idea of relaxation. This soothing stream of water lies 14 km south of the city of Mirzapur. The tranquillity of the place is quite enthralling and the beauty of the flora and fauna during the monsoon season shall revitalize your enthusiasm to admire the richness of the place all the more! Just opposite to the falls, your eyes can view the Tanda Dam. It is a nice place for excursions and so leave all your worries aside for a while and get going!

Named after the British gatherer Wyndham, this exquisite waterfall trickles extravagantly through rough patches. Present in the vicinity of Mirzapur, these shining waters are 90 km away from Varanasi and flaunt of a nearby tourist spot of attraction where you can praise a variety of feathered creatures. The entire valley is touched with shades of green and the vibrant aura of the sky is a tinge of blue. This also adds to the beauty of the falls along with a colourful zoo in the vicinity which is again frequented by a lot of tourists. Excited about a 'cookout' spot? This place contains one. The crowd is enormous but nevertheless, the place is still fantastic.

Chunadari's location is in close proximity to the Lakhiyana Dari falls but mind you the approach is not very smooth via road. The height of the pristine waters is about 165 ft and it allows its water to gush into the Lakhania Dari. If you judge by the base of the waterfall, the exact depth is difficult to determine. Let us talk about a big stone at the base of the waterfall: this highlights the elegance of the glamorous waterfall. As watching it from the stone could be a tad bit risky, folks!
