Cycling enthusiasts in Delhi are pretty well known for the large number of people who turned the activity of a mere activity of recreation to professional levels since quite sometime now. During the early morning hours the roads which leads to the India Gate and the Rajpath are filled by cyclists who ride on their mean machines amdist the walkers.
Like many other cities across the globe, the cycling community at the capital city is very closely knit and welcoming to newbies. If you happen to be a newcomer to riding, don't be surprised if you come across a huge group of people on the same boat.
Najafgarh Wetlands

Gorgeous sunrise, greenery and countless avian species makes the place one of the most loved cycling tracks in the city. With the arrival of winter, one would come across a large number of migratory birds who make the place their home.
The track is located on the outskirts of Delhi and runs parallel to the Najafgarh drain.Thanks to its location, one would not come across heavy vehicular movement which contributes to the lush green surroundings.

Asola Bhardwaj Lake

This track is meant for those individuals who would love to spot some wildlife along their ride. The track here is a gravel one and attracts a large number of mountain bike riders, who are on the look for a rocky terrain close to the city limits.
Aravali Bio-Diversity Park, Gurugram
This location is a green paradise in the concrete jungle of the city. The downhill sections inside the park may appear intimidating for a beginner; however, once you get the hang of it, you would for sure thoroughly enjoy the wavy path inside the premises of the Aravalli Biodiversity Park.
Sanjay Van

Sanjay Van is the forest area located right at the heart of Delhi, which truly is a dream come true for any person living in the city. One would come across a gravel track which runs inside the forest, which forms an excellent cycling track.
As you cycle through this forest area, make sure you stop at one of the numerous watchtowers, which would give you an undisputed view of the surrounding area.
