I See Through My Lens:
Most of the homestays are adorned with artifacts, and if you are a lover of still-life photography, I am certain that you would not choose to step out at all. You may be found lingering in and around the homestay, hunting for the most interesting piece of the show-piece artifacts to get your best click and brag about it to your friends.

Hygiene Comes First:
Homestays are usually well maintained with personal attention given to the guests, as most of the homestays belong to the hosts themselves and are treated as an integral part of their homes. Some of the homestays are a synonym for spick-and-span maintenance. If you are a hygiene freak, this is where you need to plan your stay.

I Do Not Have Much To Shell Out:
Are you looking to go easy on your pockets? You may have to do your homework to get the best deals, but homestays do give us a choice to plan a cost-effective stay. Usually, a breakfast or lunch will be treated as a complimentary one during the stay, and some of the homestays also do offer a free pick-up-and-drop service to the nearby stations as well. Some homestays also offer services on car rentals and local guides at affordable prices, if you are planning to take a tour to the nearest tourist attractions.

I Am A Foodie:
Friendly hosts with great cooking skills are only found in homestays. Local cuisines for both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian lovers are cooked and served hot. Some of the homestays have a common eat-out area, where the food is served to all the guests along with some enchanting music being played at the background.

Safe Is Better:
Be it an individual, a family or a group of friends, safety is what we all look for. Since homestays are usually run by families, there seems to be a greater sense of responsibility from the hosts, and they go an extra mile to make their guests feel safe and secure for sure.

So, what can be better than a "home away from home", ain't it?
