Sirkazhi has a railway station and the major railhead is about 20 km away at Mayavaram which is connected to major cities like Chennai, Rameshwaram, Vilupuram and Coimbatore. From the railway station, one can either hire a taxi or an auto rickshaw. There are private as well as government bus services available.
