Maa Vaishno Devi Temple, Rourkela

Maa Vaisho Devi Temple is one of the famous temples of Rourkela. The temple was constructed on top of a beautiful hillock. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali, Goddess Saraswati and Goddess Lakshmi. These statues were discovered on the hilltop in the year 2000.

The temple construction ended in the year 2003, and the statues were placed inside the temple for the purpose of worship by devotees. The beautiful temple has been built as a replica of the original Vaishno Devi temple that is situated in Jammu.

There is a very popular temple of Goddess Durga near this temple. Tourists visiting this temple make it a point to pay a visit to the Durga Temple as well. In the Maa Vaishno Devi Temple, the festival of Navaratri is celebrated on a large scale.
