The Ministry of Railways has approved the conversion of four train-on-demand special services run by the East Coast Railway into regular weekly trains to improve rail connectivity from Visakhapatnam to several important destinations. The official date for these regular services will be announced later.

Vizag-Tirupati Train as a Regularised Service
One of the trains is the Vizag-Tirupati service. It is currently running as Special Train Nos. 08583/08584 and will now operate as Weekly Express Train Nos. 18507/18508. Train No. 18507 will depart from Vizag every Monday at 7:10 pm and reach Tirupati at 9:30 am the next day. On the return journey, Train No. 18508 will depart from Tirupati on Tuesdays at 9:50 pm and arrive in Vizag at 1:30 pm the following day.
Vizag-Bengaluru Service
Another service between Vizag and Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal in Bengaluru will also become a regular weekly express. At present, it runs as Special Train Nos. 08581/08582, but it will be renumbered as Train Nos. 18509/18510. Train No. 18509 will depart from Vizag on Sundays at 3:20 pm and reach Bengaluru at 1:50 pm today. The return train will leave Bengaluru at 3:50 pm on Mondays and reach Vizag at 1:30 pm the next day.
Vizag-Tirupati Service
A second Vizag-Tirupati special service (Train Nos. 08547/08548) will also be converted into a weekly express, numbered 18505/18506. Train No. 18505 will depart Vizag on Wednesdays at 7 pm and reach Tirupati at 9:30 am the next day. The return train will leave Tirupati on Thursdays at 9:50 pm and arrive in Vizag at 1:30 pm the following day.
Vizag-Charlapalli Service
Similarly, the Vizag-Charlapalli service will run as Train No. 18527, departing Vizag on Fridays at 5:30 pm and reaching Charlapalli at 8 am the next day. The return service will leave Charlapalli on Saturdays at 2:30 pm and arrive in Vizag at 5:20 am.
