A new Vande Bharat Sleeper Express service is being planned between Bengaluru and Mumbai, which is expected to make long-distance travel faster and more comfortable. As the train will run through Pune, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Raichur, and Guntakal, it will improve connectivity for several regions along the route, including both urban

and smaller areas.
New Vande Bharat Sleeper Train to Reduce Time
According to reports, this new sleeper train will reduce travel time between the two cities to around 16 hours. Currently, trains on this route take more than 21-22 hours to complete the journey. With this new service, passengers will be able to travel overnight and reach their destination much faster, saving both time and effort.
Features of the New Vande Bharat Train
The sleeper version of the Vande Bharat train is specially designed for long-distance travel, and it will have 16 coaches and will carry over 800 passengers at a time. It will include modern features like comfortable sleeping berths, automatic doors, improved suspension for a smoother ride, and upgraded hygiene systems. These features aim to provide passengers with a premium travel experience similar to airlines.
How will this Service Benefit Passengers
This service is part of Indian Railways' plan to introduce more advanced trains and improve connectivity between major cities. The Bengaluru-Mumbai corridor is one of the busiest routes, and the new sleeper train is expected to meet the growing demand for faster and more efficient travel.
