India's Vande Bharat Express network has been growing quickly, connecting major cities with faster, more comfortable train services. Indian Railways has recently changed the timings of four Vande Bharat trains running in South India to improve and manage operations.

List of Trains and Changes to be Made
These changes will be effective from March 15, 2026, and mainly affect trains operated by the South Western Railway zone. The trains included in this are the Kacheguda-Yeshwantpur, Yeshwantpur-Kacheguda, Kalaburagi-SMVT Bengaluru, and SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburagi Vande Bharat Express services.
The revisions are mostly small changes in arrival timings at certain stations. For example, the Kacheguda-Yeshwantpur train now reaches Hindupur at 3:55 pm instead of 3:48 pm. Similarly, the Yeshwantpur-Kacheguda train now arrives at Hindupur at 12:17 pm instead of 12:08 pm.
Moreover, the Kalaburagi-SMVT Bengaluru Vande Bharat has new timings at key stations. It now reaches Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam at 11:13 am, which reached earlier at 11:00 am, and Yelahanka at 12:58 pm, earlier at 12:28 pm. The return service between SMVT Bengaluru and Kalaburagi will also follow updated schedules at important stops.
Officials state that these minor timing changes are to improve train punctuality and make operations smoother. Although the changes are not very significant, passengers travelling on these routes are advised to check the updated schedules before planning their journey to avoid confusion.
