The tentative route for the Patna-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express includes Lucknow, Sultanpur, Varanasi, and Patna. The train is expected to start from Lucknow in the morning, reaching Patna the same evening. On the return journey, it will depart from Patna at night, reaching Lucknow the next morning.
Comparatively, the Shramjeevi Express, which takes 9.25 hours for the Patna-Lucknow journey, will face competition from the efficient Vande Bharat Express.
