UP Weather Alert: Noida, Meerut, and Ghaziabad to See Rain from February 27

As February comes to an end, Uttar Pradesh is experiencing a mix of weather conditions. Some areas are enjoying warm, sunny afternoons, while others are preparing for rain and thunderstorms. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted changes in the coming days, especially for western Uttar Pradesh.

UP Weather Alert Rain from 27

Rain Expected in Western UP

Cities like Noida, Meerut, and Ghaziabad in western Uttar Pradesh may see rain and thunderstorms starting from February 27. This follows a series of weather events, including rain, hailstorms, and thunderstorms, that have affected different parts of the state recently.

Despite this forecast, Uttar Pradesh is expected to have mostly clear skies from February 23 to 25, with warm and sunny days. However, on February 24, a western disturbance may bring some clouds, hinting at changing weather patterns. Residents in both eastern and western UP should also be prepared for shallow fog, which may continue in some areas.

Temperature Trends in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow has recently recorded a maximum temperature of 30.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 15.5 degrees Celsius, making afternoons feel hotter than usual for this time of year. In contrast, Ayodhya recently recorded the lowest temperature in the state, showing how temperatures vary across different districts.

On February 22, most areas in UP will have clear weather, but some places may experience shallow fog late at night and in the early morning. This may bring a slight chill, despite the otherwise warm days.

As February ends, Uttar Pradesh will continue to see mixed weather conditions. While some parts of the state will have clear and sunny skies, others-especially western UP-should prepare for rain and thunderstorms. Foggy conditions may also persist in certain areas. Residents are advised to stay updated with weather reports and be prepared for any changes in the coming days.
