Trains to be Affected: South Western Railway has announced the cancellation of train services

The South Western Railway (SWR) has announced the cancellation and partial cancellation of several train services due to engineering work being carried out between K R Puram and Whitefield Panel Cabin. The work requires a line block, which will temporarily affect train operations on June 7 and June 8.

List of Trains to be Affected

• As part of these changes, Train No. 20623 Ashokapuram-KSR Bengaluru Express and Train No. 20624 KSR Bengaluru-Ashokapuram Express will be fully cancelled on June 8.

• Several MEMU services will also be partially cancelled. Train No. 66533 Marikuppam-KR Puram MEMU will not run between Whitefield and KR Puram on June 7. Instead, the train will end its journey at Whitefield, making it a short-terminated service.

• Similarly, Train No. 66534 KR Puram-Kuppam MEMU will be partially cancelled between KR Puram and Whitefield on June 7. The train will start its journey from Whitefield instead of KR Puram and will depart according to Whitefield's scheduled departure time.

• Train No. 66560 Anantapur-KSR Bengaluru MEMU will also be partially cancelled on June 7. It will not operate between Channasandra and KSR Bengaluru, affecting passengers travelling on that section of the route.

• Another affected service is Train No. 66520 KSR Bengaluru-Marikuppam MEMU, which will be partially cancelled between KSR Bengaluru and Whitefield on June 7. The train will begin its journey from Whitefield instead of KSR Bengaluru at its scheduled departure time from Whitefield.

• On June 8, Train No. 66519 Marikuppam-KSR Bengaluru MEMU will be partially cancelled between Whitefield and KSR Bengaluru and will terminate at Whitefield.

• Likewise, Train No. 66546 KSR Bengaluru-Marikuppam MEMU will not run between KSR Bengaluru and Whitefield and will originate from Whitefield instead of KSR Bengaluru.

Passengers are advised to check train schedules before travelling and make alternative arrangements if necessary.
