Indian Railways has approved the extension of three train services in Madhya Pradesh and announced new stoppages for 10 trains. The Railway Board said the changes aim to improve connectivity between different cities and give passengers more convenient travel options. The concerned railway zones will issue separate notifications about the implementation of the changes.

Extension of Trains
The first extension is for the Gwalior-Kailaras MEMU service. Train numbers 64635 and 64636 will now run up to Birpur. Train 64635 will leave Gwalior at 5.45 am, reach Kailaras at 7.47 am, and arrive at Birpur at 10 am. The return train, 64636, will depart Birpur at 10.30 am and reach Gwalior at 3.20 pm. The service will use an eight-car MEMU rake, with commercial stops at all stations on the extended section.
Another Gwalior-Kailaras MEMU service, train numbers 64637 and 64638, will also be extended to Birpur. Train 64637 will leave Gwalior at 12 noon, reach Kailaras at 2.02 pm, and Birpur at 4.15 pm. Train 64638 will start from Birpur at 4.45 pm and arrive in Gwalior at 9.10 pm. This service will also have eight coaches and stop at all stations along the extended route.
The third extension covers train numbers 64639 and 64640. Train 64639 will depart Gwalior at 3 pm, reach Kailaras at 5.02 pm, and Birpur at 7.15 pm. The return service, 64640, will leave Birpur at 7.45 pm and reach Gwalior at 12.05 am.
Ten Trains to Get Stoppages
Ten trains will also receive new stoppages. These include the Chennai Egmore-Kollam Ananthapuri Express at Pennadam, Daund-Kalaburagi Passenger services at Washimbe, Jammu Tawi-Srinagar Vande Bharat at Anantnag, Dadar-Gorakhpur Express at Belthara Road, Jogbani-Danapur Vande Bharat at Parliputra, Mysuru-Ajmer Express at Tungabhadra Dam, Jogbani-Danapur Intercity Express and Jaynagar-Patna Namo Bharat Rapid Rail at Laheria Sarai, and Rajendra Nagar (T)-Ajmer Ziyarat Express at Dildarnagar.
These extensions and additional stops are expected to improve direct connectivity and make rail travel more accessible for passengers in several towns and cities.
