The world-renowned Tirumala is crowded with devotees every single day. The seven hills echo with the name of Lord Vishnu, as lakhs of devotees from different states come to visit the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple. Recently, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced some good news for the devotees.

For the past few months, the number of regular devotees visiting Tirumala has increased significantly. This has made it difficult for devotees to see Srivari Seva and find rooms for accommodation. To address this issue, TTD is releasing darshan tickets and room quotas for devotees.
Special Entry Darshan
TTD offers a Special Entry Darshan for pilgrims who wish to have an exclusive and faster darshan (viewing) of Lord Venkateswara at the Tirumala Temple. Here are the key details:
1. Ticket Price: The special entry darshan tickets are priced at ₹300 per person. These tickets allow devotees to bypass the regular queue and have a quicker darshan experience.
2. Booking Options:
- Online Booking: Pilgrims can book special entry darshan tickets online through the official TTD booking portal. The online quota for each month is released in advance.
- Offline Counters: Tickets can also be purchased at the counters near the temple.
3. Availability:
- TTD releases special entry darshan tickets for specific months. For example, tickets for September 2024 are currently available.
- The online quota for each month opens at a specified time. For instance, the quota for November 2024 will open on September 21, 2024.
4. Multilingual Services:
- The TTD's online system supports multiple languages, allowing pilgrims to avail services related to seva, accommodation, hundi (offering box), and more.
Important Dates and Booking Information
The quota of ₹300 special entry darshan tickets for September was released earlier today at 10 am. Similarly, the room quota for September will be released today at 3 pm. Those who want to book darshan tickets and rooms can do so online.
The Tirumala Tirupati Srivari Seva Quota will be released on June 27 at 11 am. Devotees coming to Tirumala can book darshan tickets, accommodation rooms, and service quotas through the official website at [https://ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in](https://ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in).
Facilities and Arrangements
Currently, the number of devotees in Tirumala is very high. TTD officials have made all the necessary arrangements so that devotees do not face any difficulties. Meals, buttermilk, drinking water, breakfast, and medical facilities are provided continuously in the queues and compartments.
Important Guidelines for Devotees
- Darshan Tickets: Devotees without their Darshan tickets will not be allowed inside the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple.
- ID Proof: The pilgrim must produce the same original photo ID used during the booking at the time of entry. An age-proof certificate is required for children below 12 years to get free entry.
- Dress Code: Pilgrims have to wear traditional dress only. Men should wear a dhoti, shirt, or kurta and pyjama. Women should wear a saree, half saree, or churidar with dupatta.
- Electronic Gadgets and Luggage: These are not allowed while reporting for darshan.
With these guidelines and facilities in place, TTD aims to make the pilgrimage experience smooth and fulfilling for all devotees visiting Tirumala.
