Indian Railways has announced special trains between Mumbai and Ahmedabad to help cricket fans travel easily for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 matches. These trains have been introduced because a large number of fans are expected to travel to Ahmedabad to watch the games. According to Western Railway

officials, the decision was taken after a sharp rise in travel demand on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route during the tournament. The additional trains aim to reduce crowding on regular trains and provide more travel options for passengers.
