Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai Special Trains: Southern Railway has Extended the Services during the Festival

Southern Railway has extended the services of special trains between Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai to meet the extra passenger demand during the Puja festival season.

Train No. 06110, Thiruvananthapuram Central-Tambaram Weekly Express Special, and Train No. 06109, Tambaram-Thiruvananthapuram Central Weekly Express Special, will continue to operate during the festival period. The extension has been announced to help passengers travelling between Kerala and Chennai.

The special service will provide an additional travel option for passengers during the festive season, when demand for train services is expected to increase.
The trains will operate on the Thiruvananthapuram-Tambaram route, connecting important destinations in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The extended services are part of Southern Railway's arrangements to handle the expected increase in passenger traffic during the Puja holidays.
