Power outages have become a serious concern among residents of several states, including metro cities, and Tamil Nadu is one of the hardest hit. The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation has reported a power cut on September 12th in over 100 locations in Tamil Nadu. Some of the major

districts, such as Coimbatore, Dindigul, Madurai, and Perambalur, will be the most affected areas. More than 60 areas of Chennai will experience a power outage on the same day, including areas of Palavakkam, Poonamallee, Tirumangalam, and Egmore.
List of Affected Areas of Tamil Nadu
• Coimbatore
The power cut timings are from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M.
Irugur, Ondipudur, Odderpalayam, S.I.H.S Colony, Pallapalayam(One Region), Kannampalayam (One Region), Chinniampalayam, Venkitapuram, Thottipalayam, and Goldwins.
• Dindigul
The power cut timings are from 9 A.M. to 2 P.M.
Pattiveeranpatti, Gandhipuram, M. Vadipatti, Ayyampalayam, Devarappanpatti, Sitheravu, Perumparai, Sitharevu, Kathrinaickenpatty, Vittanalickenpatty area, Giriampatty, Silvarpatty, Innasipuram, Thadicombu, Ayyalur, Kurumbapatty, Valavichettiapatty, and Vadugapatty.
• Madurai
The power cut timings are from 9 A.M. to 2 P.M.
Valanthur surroundings and Vicramangalam surroundings.
• Perambalur
The power cut timings are from 9 A.M. to 2 P.M.
Perali, Kalpadi, Asoor, K.Puthur
The TNGDC declared the power crisis on September 12th beforehand and spread awareness among residents so that they could prepare accordingly.
