To manage the heavy passenger traffic during the summer season, Indian Railways has decided to run 31 summer special trains, which will operate until the end of April, helping passengers travel more comfortably during this busy period.

Bengaluru to Balurghat Summer Special Train
Several routes have been planned to connect major cities. Train No. 06561 will run from SMVT Bengaluru to Balurghat on April 19 and 26, departing on Sunday morning and reaching on Tuesday morning. The return train, No. 06562, will run from Balurghat to Bengaluru Cantt. on April 15, 22, and 29.
Mysuru & New Jalpaiguri Special Services
Special services are also arranged between Mysuru and New Jalpaiguri. Train No. 06521 will leave Mysuru on April 17 and 24 and reach its destination on Sunday evening. The return service, Train No. 06252, will run on April 20 and 27. Another train from Yesvantpur to New Jalpaiguri, No. 06567, will operate on April 17 and 24, while the return, No. 06568, will run on April 20 and 26.
Mysuru to Dibrugarh Special Train
A long-distance special train from Mysuru to Dibrugarh, No. 06253, will run on April 26, with the return service, No. 06254, operating on April 16 and 30.
Bengaluru & Rupsa Special Train
Additional trains include services between SMVT Bengaluru and Rupsa, with Nos. 06545 and 06546, running on multiple dates in April. There are also trains connecting SSS Hubbali and Alipurduar with Nos. 07323 and 07324.
Special Trains between Podanur & Baruani
Moreover, special trains between Podanur and Barauni with Nos. 06021 and 06022 will run on selected dates to support passenger demand.
These special trains aim to reduce crowding and make travel easier for passengers during the peak summer holiday season.
