Western Railway has announced the operation of several special trains from important stations like Udhna, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai to manage the heavy passenger rush during the summer season. Every year, many people travel in large numbers during holidays, festivals, and vacation time, leading to crowded trains and difficulty in getting

confirmed tickets. To solve this problem, the railway has decided to run additional trains on high-demand routes.
List of Special Trains
• One such train, Udhna-Santragachi Special (09053/09054), will run on April 20 and 25 from Udhna, and on April 22 and 27 for the return journey. This train will have 22 coaches and will stop at important stations including Nandurbar, Bhusaval, Nagpur, Raipur, Bilaspur, and Kharagpur.
• Another train, Udhna-Jaynagar Special (09061/09062), will run for one round trip. It will leave Udhna on April 19 and return from Jaynagar on April 20. This train will have only general coaches so that more passengers can travel.
• Similarly, Udhna-Madhubani Special (09067/09068) will also run one trip each on April 19 and 20, mainly for passengers travelling towards Bihar.
• Apart from these, a bi-weekly Mumbai Central-Indore Superfast Special will run from April 20 to May 29 on Mondays and Fridays, covering stations like Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, and Ujjain.
• A weekly Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Superfast Special will also run between April 22 and May 28.
Railway officials will display schedules at stations and make announcements, while ticket bookings will be available through the reservation system. Passengers are advised to plan their trips early and use these extra train services to avoid last-minute problems during the busy travel season.
