To manage the heavy rush of passengers during the winter holidays and the Sankranti festival season, the South Central Railway has decided to extend the running of several special trains on different routes. This move is aimed at providing extra travel options and reducing crowding on regular trains during this busy period.

Special Trains to Run For Sankranti Festival
According to the announcement, special train services will operate between Secunderabad and Anakapalle, Hyderabad and Gorakhpur, and Machilipatnam and Ajmer. These trains will run on selected dates in December and January to meet the increased travel demand.
• Train number 07041, running from Secunderabad to Anakapalle, will operate on January 4, 11, and 18. The return service, train number 07042 from Anakapalle to Secunderabad, will run on January 5, 12, and 19. Similarly, train number 07075 from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur will run on January 9, 16, and 23, while train number 07076 from Gorakhpur to Hyderabad will operate on January 11, 18, and 25.
• Moreover, train number 07274 from Machilipatnam to Ajmer will run on December 21, and the return train number 07275 from Ajmer to Machilipatnam will operate on December 28.
Special Trains to Benefit Passengers
These special trains will halt at several important stations along the route to benefit passengers from different regions. Some of the major stops include Gudivada, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Nanded, Parbhani, Jalna, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Manmad, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Bhopal, Ujjain, Ratlam, Chittaurgarh, Bhilwara, and Nasirabad, among others.
Type of Coaches
The trains will be equipped with different types of coaches, including First AC, Second AC, Third AC, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class, ensuring travel options for passengers with different needs and budgets during the festive season.
