How will these Trains Benefit Passengers?
Vaikasi Visakam is an important religious festival celebrated at the famous Subramaniaswamy Temple in Tiruchendur, which attracts a large number of devotees every year. To handle the increased passenger rush during the festival, the Railways often introduce special train services.
Railway officials stated the trains will be fully unreserved, allowing passengers to travel without prior seat reservations. This arrangement has been made mainly for festival devotees and regular passengers who may face heavy crowding during the celebration period.
Passengers planning to travel for the festival have been advised to arrive at stations early because large crowds are expected on the day of the celebrations.
