Special Train Services between Bilaspur & Yelahanka to Handle the Extra Passenger Rush

To handle the extra passenger rush during the summer season, the Railways has announced special train services between Bilaspur and Yelahanka to provide additional travel options and reduce crowding on regular services.

Special Train Services to Begin

According to the railway announcement, a total of five special services will operate in each direction between June and July.

• Train No. 08261 Bilaspur-Yelahanka Special will run on Wednesdays. The train will depart from Bilaspur at 2.00 pm on June 4, 11, 18, 25, and July 2, and will reach Yelahanka at 7.00 pm the following day, Thursday. This gives passengers a direct travel option between the two cities during the busy holiday period.

• Similarly, Train No. 08262 Yelahanka-Bilaspur Special will operate on Thursdays. The train will leave Yelahanka at 9.30 pm on June 5, 12, 19, 26, and July 3, and arrive in Bilaspur at 3.30 am on Saturday.

Important Stoppages & Train Features

The special trains will stop at several important stations along the route in both directions. These include Bhatapara, Raipur, Durg, Rajnandgaon, Dongargarh, Gondia, Wadsa, Chanda Fort, Balharshah, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Mancherial, Kazipet, Charlapalli, Secunderabad, Lingampalli, Vikarabad, Tandur, Yadgir, Krishna, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Guntakal, Gooty, Anantapur, and Dharmavaram. These stops will allow passengers from different regions to use the service and travel conveniently between central and southern India.

The Railways stated that the special trains will consist of Third AC (3AC), Sleeper Class, and General Second Class coaches, catering to passengers with different travel budgets and requirements.

The introduction of these services is expected to provide relief to travellers during the summer rush and improve connectivity between Bilaspur, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and other regions along the route.
