Rajasthan Train Cancellations: Indian Railways has Announced that a Few Trains won't stop in Delhi

Indian Railways has announced that 13 trains travelling to and from Rajasthan will not stop at Delhi Cantt railway station for around 70 days due to redevelopment work. The temporary change has been made as part of the station modernisation project, under which Platforms 2 and 3 are being upgraded.To carry out the work safely, the Railways has imposed a traffic block on the Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Rewari rail section.

According to Amit Sudarshan, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of North Western Railway, the temporary suspension of halts at Delhi Cantt will remain in effect from early August until October 13, depending on the train.

• Train No. 22481 Jodhpur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express (from August 1 to October 13)

• Train No. 12985 Jaipur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Double Decker Express (August 1 to October 13)

• Train No. 12065 Ajmer-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Jan Shatabdi Express (August 1 to October 13)

• Train No. 22949 Bandra Terminus-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express (August 5 to October 13)

• Train No. 20487 Barmer-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express (August 3 to October 13)

• Train No. 20983 Bhuj-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express (August 4 to October 13)

• Train No. 15013 Jaisalmer-Kathgodam Ranikhet Express (August 1 to October 13)

• Train No. 20963 Sabarmati-Varanasi Express (August 6 to October 13)

• Train No. 19601 Udaipur City-New Jalpaiguri Express (August 1 to October 13)

• Train No. 12372 Bikaner-Howrah Express (August 6 to October 13)

• Train No. 20984 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Bhuj Express (August 1 to October 13)

• Train No. 12066 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Ajmer Jan Shatabdi Express (August 1 to October 13)

• Train No. 22950 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Bandra Terminus Express (August 6 to October 13)

Passengers travelling on these trains should note that they will not be able to board or get off at Delhi Cantt during the redevelopment period. However, the trains will continue to run on their regular routes and stop at their other scheduled stations.

Railway officials have advised passengers to check the latest train schedule before travelling and make necessary arrangements. The redevelopment work is to improve passenger facilities and modernise Delhi Cantt railway station.

Once the work is completed, the station is expected to offer better infrastructure and a more comfortable travel experience.
