Rain on the Way: Bengaluru Under Yellow Alert After a Week of Clear Weather

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has shared the latest weather forecast for Bengaluru, bringing both good news and a warning for residents. While the start of the week will see clear skies and pleasant weather, rain is expected to return by the end of the week. This forecast comes after a week of unexpected rain that caused traffic problems and waterlogging in the city.

Bengaluru Under Yellow Alert

Sunny Start to the Week

On Monday, Bengaluru is expected to enjoy clear skies throughout the day. The IMD has predicted that the temperature will rise to a high of 33 degrees Celsius, while the lowest temperature at night will be around 22 degrees Celsius. The sun will rise at around 06:05 AM and set by 06:30 PM, giving the city a full day of clear weather and sunshine.

The weather is likely to stay clear from April 21 to April 24. During these days, the maximum temperature will remain around 33°C, and the minimum will stay close to 22°C. This clear weather will provide a short break from the rain that the city faced recently.

Yellow Alert Issued for Monday

Despite the clear skies, the IMD has issued a yellow alert for Bengaluru on Monday. This alert is meant to inform people about possible changes in the weather that could affect the city. It serves as a reminder to stay alert and be prepared, especially after the recent rainfall.

Rain Predicted for April 25 and 26

As the week moves forward, the weather is expected to change. The IMD has predicted that Bengaluru will receive rainfall on April 25 and April 26. This rain could bring a brief relief from the warm weather. During this time, daytime temperatures will continue to stay at 33°C, while the night temperatures may drop slightly to around 21°C.

Rain Disruptions in the Past Week

Bengaluru, often called the Garden City and the Silicon Valley of India, has experienced rainfall over the past week. The rain led to waterlogging on roads and traffic congestion in many parts of the city. These conditions caused trouble for residents and commuters, slowing down daily life.

While the beginning of the week promises bright and sunny weather, Bengaluru should prepare for rainfall later in the week. The expected showers may cool down the evenings and bring some comfort after days of heat. Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest weather reports to plan their week better.
