As there's an upsurge in passenger traffic during the summer vacation season, the Railways has introduced several weekly superfast trains between Pune and Nagpur to provide relief to passengers travelling towards the Vidarbha region, where demand usually rises sharply during this time.

53 Summer Special Trains
In total, 53 summer special train services will run on the Pune-Nagpur-Pune route. These trains will include basic passenger facilities, and extra coaches may be added if there are higher bookings. Railway officials shared that Train No. 01469 will depart from Pune every Tuesday from April 21 to July 14. Its return service, Train No. 01470, will depart from Nagpur every Wednesday from April 22 to July 15. Together, these trains will complete 26 trips.
However, another pair of trains with 01457 and 01458 has also been announced. Train No. 01457 will run from Pune every Wednesday between April 15 and July 15, while Train No. 01458 will depart from Nagpur every Thursday from April 16 to July 16.
