Pune-Danapur Summer Special Train by Central Railway to Manage the Extra Travel Rush

Central Railway has announced a one-way summer special train between Pune and Danapur in Bihar to manage the extra travel rush. The special service has been introduced to provide additional travel capacity and make journeys more convenient for passengers.

Pune-Danapur Summer Special Train

Train No. 01499 Summer Special will operate from Pune to Danapur. During its journey, the train will stop at several important stations, including Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, and Ara before reaching Danapur. These stops will help passengers from different regions access the special service and travel comfortably during the busy holiday period.

Other Summer Special Trains

At the same time, Western Railway has also announced additional summer special trains to meet the growing travel demand. These trains will run on special fares and are intended to help passengers secure seats during the ongoing vacation season, when regular trains often experience heavy bookings.

• Among the newly announced services is Train No. 09075/09076 Mumbai Central-Kathgodam Weekly Superfast Special. This train will operate 20 trips and provide better connectivity between Mumbai and Kathgodam, a popular gateway to the hill stations of Uttarakhand.

• Western Railway will also run Train No. 09185/09186 Mumbai Central-Kanpur Anwarganj Weekly Superfast Special. This service will complete 22 trips and offer additional travel options for passengers travelling between Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh.

• Another special service announced is Train No. 09189/09190 Mumbai Central-Katihar Weekly Special. This train will also operate 22 trips and help passengers travelling between Mumbai and the eastern parts of the country.

The introduction of these summer special trains by Central Railway and Western Railway is aimed at reducing waiting lists and accommodating the increased number of travellers during the holiday season. Railway officials hope these additional services will make travel more comfortable and convenient for passengers heading to various destinations across India.
