The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company has announced a power cut from 8 to 10 October, due to maintenance work. This power outage will affect several neighbourhoods under BESCOM's South and East divisions. This maintenance work is conducted to improve infrastructure and ensure long-term smooth functioning of the power supply in
the entire Bangalore city. It will involve upgrading transmission lines, replacing transformers, and clearing vegetation near power grids.

The company has requested that residents cooperate throughout the power outage, as it will help avoid inconvenience later. Residents should either schedule their important activities before or after the power outage. They should plan their day accordingly by keeping electronic devices charged, storing enough water, and scheduling the required activities.
