Bangalore Power Cut Today: BESCOM and KPTCL Announce Major Power Outage on 29 September

BESCOM and KPTCL have announced a power outage on 29 September from 10:00 A.M. to 5 P.M. due to long-pending maintenance work that has been overdue since January and is being carried out in several phases. The maintenance work has been pending due to various reasons and is carried out

to ensure long-term functionality. One of KPTCL's engineers stated that the rising consumption requires monthly maintenance from transformers to conductors, as per sources. Many parts of Bangalore will experience power outages for two months, with power cuts lasting eight to nine hours.
