BESCOM has announced a Bangalore power outage on 30 September from 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. due to emergency maintenance work at a local substation. From households, offices, to commercial enterprises, the power cut will affect them today. It will affect the Hennur and its surrounding areas. BESCOM has expected residents'
cooperation during the power cut, as it is carried out to ensure long-term smooth functioning. Moreover, if the work gets done early, the engineers might restore electricity before the scheduled time.

Residents of Bangalore should store enough water and food items, charge electronic devices, avoid using sensitive appliances during the affected hours, and plan their activities accordingly. Moreover, the company also advised business enterprises and educational institutions to switch off or connect to backup power sources to minimize inconvenience.
