BESCOM's Advisory for Residents of Affected Areas
BESCOM explained that these scheduled power cuts are necessary to carry out important repair work and upgrades, as they will help reduce the chances of sudden and unplanned power failures later. The company is asking people to be prepared and cooperate with BESCOM during working hours. This includes charging mobile phones, laptops, and other electronic devices beforehand, and arranging for backup power if needed. If people experience any power-related issues, they are encouraged to report them quickly so that BESCOM can fix them without delay. Businesses should also adjust their working hours or use generators to avoid power disruptions.
Being prepared and staying updated will help reduce any inconvenience during the maintenance period.
