upgrade equipment, and ensure a reliable power supply in the future. This maintenance work will affect several areas in Bengaluru, including K.G. Temple, Hirehalli, Honnudike, Hennur, and Thimmasandra, along with the villages and towns of Tumakuru district.


List of Bangalore's Sub-Areas to be Affected:

Marathahalli, Doddanekundi, ISRO, Bagmane Tech Park, GTRE, WTC, and Indiranagar Defence Colony, 100ft Road, Indiranagar 1st and 2nd stage, 80 Feet Road, CMH Road, Krishna Temple Road, Jeevanbhimanagar, Geetanjali Layout, 12th Main, BDA Layout, LIC Colony, Thippasandra, Rameshnagar, Tata Housing, BEML, ADA, Malleshpalya, Maruthi Nagar, Kallappa Layout, Basavanagar, Annasandrapalya, Vibhuthipura, Jain Heights, Vishwajit Layout, Adarsha Villa, Kuvempu Road, Krishnappa Garden, Airport Road, and surrounding areas.


List of Tumakuru's Areas to be Affected:

Nittur, Gubbi, Bidre, Doddaguni, Kadaba, Kallur, Ungra, Somalapur, South-Western Railway Line, Bellavi, Heggere, Doddasarangi, Kor, Beladhara, Urdigara, and regions served by the C.T. Kere Substation.

BESCOM's Advisory for Residents of Affected Areas

BESCOM explained that these scheduled power cuts are necessary to carry out important repair work and upgrades, as they will help reduce the chances of sudden and unplanned power failures later. The company is asking people to be prepared and cooperate with BESCOM during working hours. This includes charging mobile phones, laptops, and other electronic devices beforehand, and arranging for backup power if needed. If people experience any power-related issues, they are encouraged to report them quickly so that BESCOM can fix them without delay. Businesses should also adjust their working hours or use generators to avoid power disruptions.
Being prepared and staying updated will help reduce any inconvenience during the maintenance period.
