For those dreaming of sunny islands, turquoise waters, and friendly smiles, there's great news. Starting October 1, 2025, Air India will launch a new non-stop flight service between Delhi and Manila. This new route will be the only direct air connection between India and the Philippines. It will not only save travellers time but also boost tourism and trade between the two countries.

Flight Details and Schedule
The new Delhi-Manila service will run five times a week and use the modern Airbus A321neo aircraft. Passengers can choose between Business, Premium Economy, and Economy classes. The flights will provide a comfortable journey and make it easier for travellers from both countries to explore new opportunities.
Visa-Free Entry for Indian Tourists
This new route comes right after the Philippines announced a visa-free entry for Indian tourists for up to 14 days. This decision is expected to bring a large number of Indian travellers to the Philippines. Known for its more than 7,000 islands, white sandy beaches, and colourful culture, the Philippines is now even more attractive for Indian tourists.
Air India's Global Expansion
Campbell Wilson, CEO & Managing Director of Air India, shared his thoughts on this launch. He said, "The introduction of our Delhi-Manila route is yet another step in our mission to connect India with more of the world, non-stop. As outbound travel from India grows at an unprecedented pace, the new entry rules for Indian tourists are a shot in the arm to boost tourism to the Philippines."
He also mentioned that the new route will help create more opportunities for cultural exchange and stronger business relationships between the two nations.
Growth in Business and Trade
In recent years, trade between India and the Philippines has grown steadily. In 2023-24, it reached USD 3.53 billion. With this direct flight, business travellers will find it easier to visit both countries, leading to stronger business connections and faster trade growth.
Connecting More of the World
Apart from linking Delhi and Manila, this route will also provide easy one-stop connections from Europe through Delhi. This makes it convenient for international travellers heading to the Philippines or returning to Europe via India.
Tickets for the new Delhi-Manila flights are already available. Travellers can book their seats through Air India's website, mobile app, or travel agents. With this launch, Air India is taking another big step towards making global travel more connected and more convenient for Indian travellers.
