Indian Railways has started a new special train service between Patna and Gaya to make journeys easier for passengers traveling between the two cities, especially daily commuters, office workers, and small traders. The special train runs daily and stops at all stations along the route, giving more travel options to

passengers from smaller towns as well. On its return journey, it follows the same route and halts at the same stations, ensuring convenience for people traveling in both directions.
Patna-Gaya Special Train Timings
The train departs from Gaya early in the morning at 5:00 am and reaches Patna by 8:00 am. In the evening, it leaves Patna at 5:15 pm and arrives in Gaya at around 8:35 pm. These timings are helpful for passengers who need to travel for work or other daily activities.
Train Features
The train has 22 coaches, mainly general class coaches, along with basic facilities such as toilets to ensure a comfortable journey. This additional service is expected to reduce crowding on existing trains on this busy route.
How will this New Train Help Commuters?
Railway officials said that this step has been taken to handle the increasing number of passengers and to improve connectivity between the two important cities in Bihar. The Patna-Gaya route is widely used, and the new train will help reduce pressure on other trains. This new special train service is part of Indian Railways' effort to provide better facilities and smoother travel for passengers.
