A special deer park and sunset safari are coming soon to Noida's Biodiversity Park in Sector-91. The government has approved this new project, which will offer a rare chance to see 132 deer from 10 different species. Three of these species will come all the way from Africa. Deer from zoos in Kanpur, Hyderabad, and Lucknow will also be brought to the park to make it rich in biodiversity.
Expert Help and Smart Lighting
To make the inside layout of the park, a retired District Forest Officer (DFO) will work as an advisor. This expert will help design the park to make it safe and comfortable for the animals. Under this guidance, the park will also get a special lighting system. These lights will be soft and will not disturb the deer, while still allowing visitors to see clearly. Dr. Lokesh M, CEO of the Noida Authority, shared that the next step is preparing a Detailed Project Report (DPR). Once the plan is ready, the construction work will begin through a tender process.
30-Acre Mini Zoo with a Budget of Rs 40 Crores
The deer park will be like a 30-acre mini-zoo and is expected to cost around Rs 40 crores. Some of the deer will be rescued from places like airports. Others will come from a new rescue centre being built near the Dhanauri Wetland. Zoos in different states will also send deer to the park, helping create a safe and lively home for them.
Only Such Park in Noida and Ghaziabad
Dr. Lokesh M said this park will be the only one of its kind in Noida and Ghaziabad. Animal experts have been consulted to make sure the African deer can live safely in the new climate. These experts are helping design the habitat to feel like the animals' natural homes, which will help them stay healthy and happy.
Special Sunset Safari for Visitors
One of the most exciting features of the park will be the sunset safari. This will be the first time people in the district can enjoy a night visit to a deer park. Visitors will be able to watch deer and birds until 10 pm. Spectrum lighting will be used so that it feels like nighttime to the animals, but is still bright enough for people to enjoy the view.
This new deer park and sunset safari will help rescue and protect animals while teaching people about wildlife. It is a big step in making cities like Noida greener and more animal-friendly.
