The Ministry of Railways has approved the introduction of new trains in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to improve connectivity and passenger convenience. According to South Central Railway, a new Charlapalli-Narasapur-Charlapalli Weekly Express has been introduced by converting an existing special train into a regular service.

Charlapalli to Narasapur Weekly Express Train
Train No. 17061 will run from Charlapalli to Narasapur every Saturday, while Train No. 17062 will run in the return direction on Sundays. The service will begin on May 2, departing Charlapalli at 7:50 pm and reaching Narasapur at 7 am the next day. On its route, it will stop at important stations such as Nalgonda, Guntur, Vijayawada, Gudivada, Kaikalur, Akividu, Bhimavaram Town, Viravasaram, and Palakollu. The return train will leave Narasapur at 8 pm and arrive in Charlapalli at 7:50 am the next morning. The train will have 2AC, 3AC, Sleeper, and General coaches.
Narasapur-Tirupati-Narasapur Weekly Express
Another new service is the Narasapur-Tirupati-Narasapur Weekly Express. Train No. 17428 will run from Narasapur to Tirupati every Monday, while Train No. 17427 will run from Tirupati to Narasapur every Sunday. This service will start on April 27, leaving Narasapur at 3:50 pm and reaching Tirupati at 3:40 am the next day. It will stop at stations like Bhimavaram, Vijayawada, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, and Renigunta. The return journey from Tirupati will begin on May 3 at 10:10 pm and reach Narasapur at 9:30 am.
Indore-Lingampalli Humsafar Express
Moreover, the Railway Board has extended the Indore-Lingampalli Humsafar Express up to Charlapalli from April 25, which will run weekly between Indore and Charlapalli.
Kakinada Town-Lingampalli Express
Further, the Kakinada Town-Lingampalli Express will run daily instead of three times a week from April 21, with an additional stop at Samalkot station. These changes aim to improve travel options and convenience for passengers.
