Rajas Aero Sports and Adventure is launching new helicopter services connecting Agra with Ayodhya, Mathura, and other important cities in Uttar Pradesh. This initiative aims to enhance travel options and make it easier for people to visit these historic and cultural locations. State Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh shared that the helicopter service will soon be up and running, providing a quicker way to travel between major cities in the state.
Routes and Aircraft Details
The new service will cover several routes including Ayodhya to Gorakhpur, Banaras, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Mathura, and Agra. Each helicopter will have space for five passengers, ensuring a comfortable and exclusive travel experience.
Discounts and Fare Information
To attract early bookings, a 40% discount will be available for those who book within the first 60 hours of the service's announcement. This discount is available on a "first come, first served" basis. After this initial period, standard fares will apply.
Here's a breakdown of the fares for different routes:
- Ram Mandir Aerial Darshan: Rs 4,130 per person (one-way)
- Ayodhya to Gorakhpur: Rs 13,373
- Ayodhya to Banaras: Rs 18,388
Please note that these fares include an 18% GST. Each passenger can carry up to 5 kg of luggage.
Booking and Fare Details
It's important to act quickly if you want to benefit from the discount. Bookings made after the first 60 hours will not receive the discount and will be charged the full fare.
Flight Schedule Still Uncertain
While the fares and routes have been announced, the exact start date for the helicopter services has not yet been revealed. Regional Tourism Officer Deepti Vats mentioned that she does not have information on when the flights will commence.
District Magistrate Arvind Mallapa Bangari has assured that the flights will start soon. However, no specific timeline has been provided yet for when this service will officially begin.
