The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is set to launch new metro feeder bus services from Monday onwards to make daily travel easier for commuters. The new service, called MF-10B, will run between the Tin Factory and Bidarahalli. The bus will pass through TC Palya Cross, Kittaganaru, and the back

gate of East Point College, providing better connectivity to nearby residential and educational areas. Only one bus will operate on this route each day.
Bus Services Timings
From the Tin Factory, the MF-10B bus will start its trips at 8.50 am, followed by services at 10.50 am, 12.25 pm, 2 pm, 4 pm, and the last service at 5.35 pm. From the Bidarahalli side, the bus will begin at 8 am, with further trips scheduled at 10 am, 11.35 am, 1.10 pm, 3.13 pm, and 4.45 pm. This feeder service is expected to help passengers easily connect to metro stations and reduce dependence on private vehicles.
Bus Services Connectivity
Earlier this month, BMTC also introduced another new bus service to improve connectivity on the city's outskirts. A bus on route number 228D has started between KR Market and Nithyanandanagar. This service passes through Sirsi Circle, Kengeri TTMC, Kumbalgodu, Thagachaguppe, and Nalku Kamba.
On this route, one bus has been deployed to operate daily. From KR Market, buses will run at 6:40 a.m., 2:40 p.m., 5:45 p.m., and 8:45 p.m. From Kengeri TTMC, services will be available at 8.40 am, 4.25 pm, 5.30 pm, 7.10 pm, 7.55 pm, and 9.30 pm.
BMTC stated that these new routes are designed to enhance last-mile connectivity, particularly for residents in suburban areas. The services are expected to make public transport more convenient and help reduce traffic congestion across the city.
