Who doesn't know the great Adiyogi sculpture situated in Coimbatore and on 15th January 2023, India is going to have one more in Karnataka as Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will inaugurate a sculpture of Adiyogi Shiva that is 112 feet tall in Chikkaballapura, a town close to Bengaluru. It claimed that the bust was a precise duplicate of the one located at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore.

In preparation for the occasion, a 21-day Adiyogi Ratha Yatra that started in the final week of December is currently going on in Chikkaballapura. Communities from the nearby villages and Avalagurki, where Sadhguru Sannidhi is located, are invited to the yatra, according to a statement from the organization.

Following the unveiling, a 14-minute light & sound extravaganza projected onto the statue will take place. Starting on January 15, a performance called "Adiyogi Divya Darshanam" will be conducted every evening. Isha Samskriti students as well as the Sounds of Isha will also perform at the event.

In October 2022, Sadhguru did a "Naga Pratishta," the consecration of the Sacred Naga, at the Sannidhi. He will now perform a "Yogeshawara Linga" in close proximity to the Adiyogi statue. According to the announcement, the Sannidhi would also contain two "energised water bodies," or "Theerthakunds," as well as a "Linga Bhairavi" shrine.

The Isha Foundation's Yoga Center in Coimbatore served as the inspiration for the new Adiyogi monument in Chikkaballapur. The bust at the Coimbatore center, which is likewise 112 feet tall, was unveiled in 2017 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The 112-foot statue of Adiyogi in Coimbatore is one of the "Incredible India" destinations named by the Union Ministry of Tourism. The statue is recognised by Guinness World Records as the "biggest bust sculpture" in the world.
