Routes to be Included

Several important routes have been included in this plan. For example, daily special trains will run between Mumbai (CSMT) and Gorakhpur, with services divided into two phases, initially as trains on demand in early April 2026, and later as regular summer specials till the end of the month. These trains will pass through major stations like Nashik Road, Bhopal, Jhansi, Kanpur, and Lucknow.

Weekly & bi-weekly Services to Boost Connectivity

Weekly and bi-weekly services have also been introduced. Mumbai will have weekly trains to Madgaon in Goa and bi-weekly trains to Nagpur. Similarly, Dadar will have tri-weekly and four-times-a-week trains to Ballia and Gorakhpur. Special AC trains will run from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) to Samastipur, while additional services will connect LTT with Banaras, Madgaon, and Danapur.

From Pune and nearby areas, including Daund and Hadapsar, many daily, weekly, and bi-weekly trains will operate to destinations such as Kolhapur, Gorakhpur, Danapur, Ghazipur City, and Nagpur. Special unreserved trains will also run between Daund and Kalaburagi for local passengers.

Solapur, Badnera, and Nagpur will also see multiple daily and weekly services connecting them to places, including Daund, Kalaburagi, Anakapalle, Nashik Road, and Madgaon.

Most trains have different classes, such as AC, sleeper, and general coaches, to suit all types of passengers. Booking for selected trains will begin from March 17, 2026, through reservation centres and online platforms like IRCTC.
