Indian Railways has updated the schedule of the Mumbai-Hazur Sahib Nanded Vande Bharat Express. This semi-high-speed train was first introduced on December 30, 2023, and is operated and maintained by the Central Railway zone.

The train, numbered 20706/20705, runs between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai and Hazur Sahib Nanded, covering a distance of about 610 km in 9 hours and 40 minutes, making it the fastest train on this route. Other trains on the same route usually take more than 11 hours. The Vande Bharat Express travels via Manmad Junction. During its journey, the train stops at eight stations, including Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Manmad Junction, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, and Parbhani Junction.
Changes in Train Timings
The Railways have made slight changes to the train timings. From May 3, 2026, Train No. 20706 from Mumbai will depart at 1:15 pm instead of 1:10 pm and will reach Hazur Sahib Nanded at 10:25 pm instead of 10:50 pm, meaning it will arrive earlier than before. On the return journey, Train No. 20705 will leave Hazur Sahib Nanded at 5:20 am instead of 5:00 am and will reach CSMT at 2:15 pm instead of 2:25 pm. These changes are expected to improve time management and overall service efficiency.
The train offers two types of seating: AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car. The ticket price from Mumbai to Nanded is Rs 1,790 for AC Chair Car and Rs 3,135 for Executive Chair Car.
