MEMU Trains to Undergo Change

According to railway officials, these changes have been extended to help manage ongoing operational requirements. Passengers travelling on these trains should note that the services will not start from or terminate at Tirupati as usual during this period.

List of MEMU Trains to be Changed

• The Arakkonam-Tirupati MEMU Passenger train (66043), which departs from Arakkonam at 9:15 am, will now end its journey at Tiruchanur at 11:45 am instead of reaching Tirupati.

• Similarly, the Tirupati-Moore Market Complex MEMU Passenger train (66070) will not start from Tirupati. Instead, it will begin its journey from Tiruchanur at 1:30 pm.

• The Moore Market Complex-Tirupati MEMU Passenger train (66069) will also experience a change in its destination. Rather than terminating at Tirupati, it will end its journey at Tiruchanur at 1:45 pm.

• Likewise, the Tirupati-Arakkonam MEMU Passenger train (66044) will not originate from Tirupati during this period. It will start its journey from Tiruchanur at 3:50 pm instead.

Advisory for Passengers

These temporary arrangements will remain in effect until June 6. Passengers travelling on these routes are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and take note of the revised starting and terminating stations to avoid any inconvenience.

Railway authorities have requested commuters to check train schedules and updates before travelling. The changes mainly affect passengers who normally board or get off at Tirupati station, as all four services will temporarily operate to and from Tiruchanur instead.

The railway administration has assured passengers that normal operations will resume once the temporary arrangements are withdrawn. Until then, travellers are encouraged to stay informed about the latest railway announcements and schedule updates.
