Why is the Maintenance Work Carried Out?
Railway officials said the work is part of efforts to improve infrastructure, enhance operational efficiency and ensure safer train movement in the region. Although the cancellation of these passenger trains may affect daily commuters and local travellers, the authorities said the upgrades are necessary for long-term benefits.
Advisory for Passengers
Passengers who had planned to travel on the affected trains are advised to verify the latest train status through official Indian Railways platforms before leaving for the station. Those with reserved tickets can also check refund rules or explore other available train services.
However, Railway authorities have requested passengers to cooperate during the maintenance period and stay updated through official announcements.
