A special service has been introduced between Madgaon-Bengaluru train to manage the passenger rush during the festive season. This service is introduced to people returning after celebrating festivals like Ugadi and Ramzan in their hometowns.

Madgaon-Bengaluru Special Train
The train started its operations on March 22, starting from Madgaon at 11:00 am. It will travel along the scenic Konkan Railway route, passing through several coastal areas of Karnataka before reaching Bengaluru. This route is popular for its beautiful views and also connects many important towns along the coast. The train is expected to reach Bengaluru Cantonment station at around 5:00 am the next day, completing an overnight journey. This timing is helpful for passengers who prefer to travel at night and reach the city early in the morning.
Major Stoppages
During its journey, the train will stop at multiple stations, including Karwar, Gokarna, Murdeshwar, Byndoor, Kundapur, Udupi, Mulki, Surathkal, Bantwal, and Subrahmanya Road. These stops will allow passengers from different coastal regions to board the train and travel to Bengaluru.
Why is the Special Train Beneficial?
Railway officials have introduced this special service to reduce crowding and provide a smoother travel experience during the busy festive period. There has been a high demand for trains on this route, especially after holidays, as many people travel back to work or study in Bengaluru. Passengers, especially those living in coastal Karnataka, have been encouraged to make use of this additional train service.
