The Indian Railways is all set to launch the Sleeper Vande Bharat Express, a new long-distance train service that will run from Lucknow to Mumbai. After careful planning and route evaluation, railway officials have finalized the route and other key details. This new train is expected to improve travel comfort and provide a faster and more reliable option for passengers, especially those from Uttar Pradesh heading to Mumbai.

Route and Facilities
The Sleeper Vande Bharat Express will pass through many major stations, including Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly Junction, Rampur, Moradabad, Ghaziabad, Hazrat Nizamuddin, and Agra. It will end its journey in Mumbai. The train will operate four days a week and will include 20 air-conditioned coaches, such as First, Second, and Third AC classes, along with two SLR coaches. In total, it will have space for about 1,200 passengers.
Better Option for Long-Distance Travel
This new train is being seen as a big step forward in connecting cities across long distances. It will be a useful alternative to trains like the Bareilly Lokmanya Tilak Express and Ramnagar-Bandra Express, which are often fully booked. With the high-speed and modern features of the Sleeper Vande Bharat Express, passengers will have a more comfortable journey with better services.
Help for Passengers in Uttar Pradesh
The new train service is expected to be a great help to people in the districts of Uttar Pradesh who travel regularly to Mumbai. At present, many passengers face trouble getting confirmed seats due to the high demand on existing trains. The Sleeper Vande Bharat Express will reduce this pressure and offer more options to travelers, making their trips smoother and easier.
Timetable and Launch Date
Railway authorities have shared that the official timetable for this new service will be announced in June. The train is expected to start running from July. This plan fits with the government's goal to improve railway travel and make it more comfortable and convenient for people across the country.
A New Era in Train Travel
The Sleeper Vande Bharat Express is likely to change how people travel between Uttar Pradesh and Mumbai. With better facilities, modern coaches, and a smooth route, this train is designed to meet the growing needs of long-distance passengers. The launch in July will mark an important moment in improving India's railway services and travel experience.
