From the start of 2025, commuters using the Kolkata Metro's special night services on the Blue Line between New Garia and Dum Dum will face an additional cost. "The Rs 10 surcharge is necessary to offset low ridership during these services. It will apply uniformly, regardless of the distance traveled," they stated.
