Here's a detailed itinerary for a tour to Chandigarh and Shimla:

Day 1 (Friday):
Board train no 12231 from Lucknow/NR Railway Station at 2225 hrs for an overnight journey to Chandigarh.

Day 2 (Saturday):
Arrive at Chandigarh Railway Station at 1005 hrs. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to a hotel in Mohali (14 km/0.30 hrs) for freshening up. Then, embark on visits to the famous attractions of Chandigarh, including the Rose Garden, Rock Garden, and Mansa Devi Mandir. Overnight stay at the hotel in Mohali.

Day 3 (Sunday):
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed by road to Shimla (115 km/4 hrs). Enroute, visit the Pinjore Garden. Upon arrival in Shimla, check in to the hotel. Spend the evening leisurely exploring Mall Road. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
