Itinerary
The tour begins on September 6, 2024, with a flight from Lucknow at 07:40 hrs to Delhi. After collecting luggage and checking in at Delhi Airport, the next flight to Paro departs at 12:20 hrs. Upon arrival at Paro, guests meet the local representative and proceed to Thimphu. The journey to Thimphu offers stunning scenic views of mountains and flowing rivers. After reaching Thimphu, guests check into their hotel and have dinner in the evening.
On September 7, after breakfast at the hotel, guests will enjoy local sightseeing in Thimphu. The tour covers major attractions like Simtokha Dzong, built in 1627 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, and Memorial Chorten, known as Thimphu Chorten. Visitors will also see Kuensal Phodrang, the largest statue in the country. Post-lunch, guests have the opportunity to explore Thimphu on their own before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
The following day, September 8, starts with breakfast at the hotel before checking out and heading to Punakha. En route, guests will stop at Dochula View Point to experience a glimpse of the Himalayan range. Upon arrival in Paro, guests will have lunch on their own at local restaurants before visiting the National Museum of Paro and Kyichulhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Dinner and an overnight stay are arranged at the hotel in Paro.
September 10 includes a visit to the famous Taksang Monastery, also known as the Tiger's Nest Temple, after breakfast. This is one of Bhutan's most famous monasteries and is a perfect spot for photography. The tour also includes a drive to Chele La Pass. In the evening, guests return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Paro.
The final day, September 11, begins with breakfast before checking out from the hotel and transferring to Paro International Airport. The return flight to Delhi departs at 09:40 hrs, landing at 11:30 hrs.
